Hand therapy

Developing manual dexterity and graphomotor skills in children.

Hand therapy

O terapii

Does your child have trouble holding a pencil, doing up buttons, drawing or cutting? Or do they tire quickly during manual tasks or avoid them altogether? Hand therapy is individual sessions that support the development of manual dexterity, coordination and precision of movement — in an atmosphere of play, acceptance and success.

What we offer

  • Exercises to strengthen the muscles of the hands and forearms
  • Activities to develop precision, eye-hand coordination and movement planning
  • Work on correct pencil and tool grip
  • Graphomotor, manual and sensory exercises
  • Individually chosen activities — from modelling clay to mazes and construction tasks

Who is it for?

  • Young children with reduced hand and finger dexterity
  • Children with graphomotor difficulties (e.g. reluctance to write, illegible handwriting)
  • Children with sensory integration disorders
  • Any child who needs support with everyday manual tasks
